Job Description:

Salida Montessori Charter School is seeking a part-time, as-needed School Psychologist to join our team of dedicated educators and work with children ages 3 through 14. This is a flexible position ideal for a qualified professional looking to make a meaningful impact while maintaining work-life balance. The role averages 3–8 hours per month and offers an hourly rate of $45–$90, depending on the nature of the tasks completed. 

Responsibilities may include conducting psychoeducational assessments, participating in IEP meetings, consulting with staff and families, supporting intervention planning, and providing other services within the scope of a school psychologist. Candidates should hold a valid Colorado license or certification as a School Psychologist, two years experience working with K-8 preferred, and be comfortable working independently, while also collaborating with a warm and supportive team. Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, and Organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members
Proficiency in assessment tools and techniques used in school and educational settings
Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
Strong Knowledge of Child Development, Learning Theories, and Behavioral Interventions
