Job Type: Full time, Hourly

Job Description:

Join our dynamic facilities maintenance team as a Maintenance Staff member, where your expertise will keep our buildings and equipment running smoothly and efficiently. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on building systems including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and facilities infrastructure.
  • Conduct repairs using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as schematics and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues or mechanical failures.
  • Maintain building interior by painting, carpentry repairs, and general upkeep to ensure a clean, safe, and inviting environment.
  • Repair and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and drainage to prevent leaks or blockages.
  • Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automated systems management and troubleshooting.
  • Use welding techniques for metal repairs or fabrication tasks as needed.
  • Follow safety protocols and document maintenance activities accurately for compliance and record-keeping purposes.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related roles with knowledge of electrical work, plumbing, HVAC system repair, mechanical systems, and building interior maintenance.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, electrical equipment repair, schematics reading, and the use of diagnostic devices such as ohmmeters.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance procedures for facilities equipment including HVAC systems and plumbing systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English with team members and vendors; customer service skills are a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to work independently or as part of a team to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Relevant certifications or experience in welding, electrical work, HVAC repair, or plumbing system maintenance are highly desirable.
