Job Description:

The Journeyman Electrician independently installs and maintains electrical systems for modular homes at Mytikas Industries’s Florence production facility. This role troubleshoots and repairs electrical issues, ensures compliance with code and safety standards, and collaborates with production teams to meet build schedules and quality expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems independently, including outlets, light fixtures, and wiring, in modular homes.
• Maintain and repair electrical systems to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues, diagnose root causes, and resolve problems efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes (e.g., NEC) and safety standards, including grounding and circuit protection.
• Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to execute installations accurately.
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with production teams to meet project deadlines and quality requirements.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program or vocational training in electrical systems (required, as provided).
• 3–5 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in a manufacturing or construction setting.
• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent required (as provided).
• Proficiency installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes (e.g., NEC) and safety practices.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA safety training.
• Experience guiding Entry-Level electricians in a production setting.

Work Environment / Schedule

• Onsite at Mytikas Industries’s production facility in Florence, Colorado.
• Production-driven environment requiring adherence to safety standards and PPE (e.g., gloves, safety glasses, insulated tools).
• Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (40 hours total).
