Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of products to our customers. This role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to operate various delivery vehicles, and a strong commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles including vans, box trucks, and other company vehicles.
- Load and unload products using pallet jacks and forklifts as needed.
- Deliver products to designated locations while adhering to scheduled routes.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking shipments and obtaining necessary signatures.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading processes.
- Follow all safety protocols while driving and handling products.
Experience
- Previous experience as a van driver, delivery driver, or courier is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus.
- Experience operating pallet jacks and forklifts is beneficial but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is essential.
